Very nice mount Tony. I have to admit that I've begun to really like pedestal mounts. They bring more to the trophy then a head on the wall. Ken.... "The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so. " - Ronald Reagan | |||

Heat, Agree completely. In years past, I had avoided the pedestal-type mounts not because of a dislike for them, but simply because I had enough wall space for traditional shoulder mounts, which cost less. That isn't the case any longer. The walls in my old trophy room are now filled, and the new room I added to house my African and NZ critters is almost filled, as well. So I decided to go with the pedestal mount this time. Although the cost is about 1/2 again as much as a standard shoulder mount even though I'm making the pedestal, it was well worth it.
