I shot my Utah Mountain Lion(2 trips)
Thanks for letting me share.
My outfitter was Wade Lemon. He is the best outfitter I have ever been with, and his guides are the best of the best. I was extremely unlucky with the weather. We never had a good snow at the right time. Nothing more than that. Dry patches on the mountains are a killer for cat hunting. If I had to come back next year, which was going to be a real likely chance, I would do the excact same trip. I gave an unlucky hunting knife to the Mountain Gods, and my luck changed.
This was the hardest and most rewarding trip I have ever been on. I shot the nice mature Tom with a 30-30 and it fell dead. Shooting the cat with the dogs going crazy and you body shaking from the killer hike and excitement is the ultimate climax of an adventure.
I highly recomend Wade Lemon Outfitters for Utah Hunting.
Thanks for letting me share.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
