Here are a few pictures from my recent Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep hunt in Idaho. This sheep allowed me to complete my Grand Slam. I killed the ram on the 19th day of the hunt. I hunted unit 27-2 and 27-3 for the first 10 days of the hunt. The second 10 days was done as a float trip on the North Fork of the Salmon river in 27L. I hunted with Bighorn Outfitters out of Carmen Idaho. It was without question the most difficult sheep hunt I have done. The terrain was much more extreme than I had anticipated. I did an elk hunt with them last year, and thought that territory was rugged, but those pictures take it to another level. Congrats on a great ram and a heck of an adventure. | |||
