I took this buck a couple of hours ago in Kansas with Jeremey Guglemeyer who posts here some.

I'll follow up with more pictures and a story later, but I just had to post one picture:

That's a downright cool buck. I like deer that have character in their rack, and yours certainly has that in abundance!

And me? I'm still trying to find a buck...

I couldn't have waited long to post a photo of a deer like that either! That is something special--one to really be proud of. clap

Any ideas on why his anlter is "bent" like that? Guessing it's an injury during antler growth obviously, just never seen it before.
Very nice buck by the way.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

Here's another picture that shows the mass of the buck. Without deductions it scored 187 4/8. The main beams are almost 25".

Mike:

Why don't you post a picture of the .404 Jeffery you're building for me.

After yesterday and today, stopping by your shop on the way to Kansas and shooting my rifle, albeit still "under construction" and the next morning getting the whitetail of a lifetime, I'm in bliss... and I don't need any beer. Russell left me half full bottles of Wild Turkey, single malt, etc.

Dadgum if they aren't going to make breakfast burritos for breakfast and we'll go tomorrow and try to call some coyotes.
