On the Golds, the partition is moved foward a little more so more weight is retained behind, the rear core is surrounded with a steel jacket simular to a Winchester Fail Safe and the jacket is about twice as thick on the front vs the regular Partitions. At least on the 250gr 338 Golds vs the 250gr regular Partition. | |||

As a result of a thicker copper jacket and less lead, the Golds are longer than the regular Partitions. I have used the Golds in 7mm and .338. They perform extremely well, especially at higher impact velocities. The perfect bullet for Dakota, Weatherby, and Ultra Mags. | |||
