While some may not think this will belong here, I am putting it here, because were it not for the help and support of this person for the past 20 years, I would not have had the opportunity to hunt and see as much of North America and the US. Thanks to her help/support/interest, I have been able to hunt in 6 states and 2 provinces, something I never thought would happen.

Today is mine and Lora's 20th. Wedding Anniversary and I hope we have another 20 years together. She has more than earned her place in Heaven for putting up with me in this life. I look forward to this dance continueing.

Very cool. Congrats.

The Hunt goes on forever, the season never ends.

I didn't learn this by reading about it or seeing it on TV. I learned it by doing it.

I've been out of town huntin' most of the last couple weeks, so I've not posted or been on the forum much, but I just saw this.
huntincats, I thought DaMan was about as vile a creature as could be. However your post above is beyond the pale. One does not have to stoop to such vitriol. There is no reason to stoop to your level. You should be ashamed.

First, Many Thanks to all for the kind sentiments. Second, I had placed huntincats on my ignore list a couple of months back. At that point in time he started making unfounded/baseless lies about me. While I like a good arguement and do not adhere to the codes of civilized exchange all that well, I do know or have the ability to realize that someone like huntincats has a real problem and that constantly defending myself against out and out lies does me know good.

I have no idea who the man is or why he feels the way he does nor do I care. There have been a few AR members that havehunted javelina with me that I still corresppond with anmd others that I have met or became better aquainted with thru a gun sale or some other transaction.

Yes, I did look at the comments huntincats made and just to set the record straight, I retired in June of 2006 after almost 25 years as a keeper at the Fort Worth Zoo. Lora retired in July of 2006 after 25+ years of service with the Social Security Administration. We both draw a pension. I stayed retired until 2009 when I went to work for a long time friend on nhis and his families farming and ranching properties/hunting operation, working 50+ hours a week. Lora stayed retired for almost a year, then went to work in the corporate offices of a small grocery store chain. She worked there until mid-2010 when she re-retired because we moved from the MetroMess up to Olney. Unable to find work up here, she did draw unemployment for the 13 weeks, during which time she did a few odd jobs around the area, groomed cats and dogs and began selling eggs from our chicken flock. For the past few months she has been working at a local nursing home.

I did not apply for disability after the accident last December when I stood a chance of losing my left arm. Instead even with my arm in a semi cast I kept on doing what I could with one arm on the properties I werk on. The arm has not healed completely, but it does not prevent me from picking up 50 pound corn and protien feed sacks, climbing a ladder and filling feeders. I will be 62 on the 10th. of this month and I will start receiving my $220.00 + or - monthly Social Security check.

If folks want to believe the lies huntincats keeps spewing forth, that is their perogative. Attacking my wife, whose only sin as far as I can see it, is loving me and enjoying our life together, is totally uncalled for.

I am a pretty public individual and have nothing to hide. Why an individual feels the need to tell outright lies about someone like me is beyond belief an d that is why I put this guy on my ignore list. I cannot stop him from making his accusations, just like I cannot stop anyone else from believing his lies.

Lora and I know the truth, the people I have met or had dealings with from this site know the truth, all the folks we know and have lived and worked around know the truth. Huntincats knows absolutely nothing, except how to lie.

Even the rocks don't last forever.

Randall,

Belated Happy Anniversary.Best to you and your wife Lora. Your tribute to her is a great compliment. A woman can make or break a man. A woman that is a helpmeet, well as the proverb states...................

10 ¶Who can find a a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11 The heart of her husband doth safely a trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her ahands.

14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the adistaff.

20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. (Proverbs 31: 10-31)

Randall, congratulations to you and Lora. In these times, it is quite a feat. I understand what you mean about a deserved seat in Heaven. I always tell my wife that being married to me must be such a pain that I give her 5 for 1. She is going on her 135th year. Smiler

Huntincats, I read your post and saw that you were in fact trying to be funny. The problem was that you were coloring outside the lines on this one. I do not know you and I do not know Randall either. I have no dog in this fight. I will only say that in the area my people come from making a comment about someones wife like that is a good way to get yourself killed. Folks do not take kindly to that sort of thing. As others have said, go after the man but never ever touch the mans wife or children. It is considered one of the ultimate taboos. It is also considered cowardly as well as crude, uncouth, and morally bankrupt. I don't know and don't care what the problem is you have with him. It is not with his family. You can slug it out all you want with your opponent. If however, you want any support or understanding rather than just stirring up trouble you will leave the rest alone.

Not that I know of. I have my suspicions as to who it might be. I could be wrong, but many of this dudes comments are really similar to another member I have not been able to get along with.

I believe it is a member of AR that has access to 2 computers and has set up a second account using a different screen name.

Other than his statements about my use of profanity and not being especially civil with all of my responses, which are factual, everything else he has claimed is nothing but lies.

Huntincats, you have made statements about myself and my wife that are pure lies. Either prove the allegations you have made or back off.
