| Don't know what river that is, but it is beautiful. I could see a lifetime of fishing and never fishing it all. Beautimous stringer of trout there too a bed of brown or wild rice, or side of fried taters and a soul would have to be sated. Thanx for sharing.

| Really great looking catch. Should taste as wonderful as they look.
Even the rocks don't last forever.

Do you sight cast to trout in a stream or throw the grass hoppers out and let them float by?

| When its hot like now the fish are down 4-5 feet and I use a grasshopper above and a "bead head" trailing 18" behind on a dropper. Bead head is weighted and sinks to fish level, sometimes you will see the strike when the grasshopper is near the surface. You may see a fish rise and then can "sight cast" in his area. |

| Nice photo. Gotta love the tug on a rod when fishing a river. |
