I shot my Sauer 300 Drilling today, 12x12x30-06.
I bought several boxes of Federal factory 180 Woodleigh Softs for use in Africa.
At 100 yards 3 rounds would always shoot within an inch and a half with the S&B scope set on 4x.

At 50 yards the rounds hit about 2 inches low. at 25 yards off hand again almost 2 inches low, 2 shots made one ragged hole.

Slugs at 50 yards with the scope shot a less than 2.2 inch group ctc about 2.5 inches high and 3 inches right. This was with 3 of one kind and 2 of another.
This was a 5 shot group, with 2 different types of Brennekes. At 100 yards the slugs hit about 4 inches high and 3 inches right.

Further testing is in order, but so far I am pleased.

I also need to some patterning of shot and buckshot.

I will also do some 30-06 reloading for use here in the states.
I like the 180 Nosler for "all round" use.

Is this the one that had some problems before? Is it all sorted out now?

Yes It would double if you fired the left shotgun bbl first. JJ has fixed it. I shot it a little and it works ok.
I hope to shoot it some more real soon.
