Similar to that 95, I've seen a Steyr straight pull and the Portuguese Mauser hybrid (whatever it's called) done in the same manner- very unique and handsome rifles, both. Besides the Portuguese, wasn't there another split bridge rifle chambered in 8X57, perhaps made in eastern Europe c.WW2?

the hungarian 98/40 was the other split bridge. i have a golden state trailmaster in 308, they were based on the portuguese verguiero 1904.
