I have a decent collection ... nothing like some I am aware of, but OK for me.

Was weak in the lighter stuff but have been working on that, so the range is now .22 LR, .223, 6.8 SPC, .300 Whisper, and 6mm Rem. In the midrange it includes .264 Win Mag, .270 Win, .308, 30-30, 30-06, 300 mags, .338 Win Mag, 9,3x62, and 9,3x74R. At the larger end we have two kinds .375, two kinds of .416, a .458 AR, and a .470 NE.

(Have to admit I do draw the line at things that beat me up too bad.)

I think I can get by now Wink

My battery now is probably larger than needed but why have it slim when you can have a larger choice to select from.

CZ 22lr
ruger 77V 220 swift
ruger #1 6ppc
ruger 77RS 243
weatherby 257wm
winchester 70LH 270 win
mauser 98 280 AI
winchester 70 LH 7mm Mag
westernfield lever action 30-30
ruger 77RSI 308 win
remington 700 CDL LH 30-06
ruger 77 300 win mag
remington 700 300 ultra mag
remington 700 LH 338 win mag
winchester 70 LH 375 ruger
mauser 45-70

smith wesson 629 44 mag
smith wesson 686 357 mag
baby eagle 9mm

remington model 31 12 gauge
remington 870 LH 12 gauge
stevens bolt action 410 gauge

If i had to slim it down i would have a 22lr, 243win, 280AI and 375 ruger. I believe i could take anything that walks with this.

Well my answer to the problem of not enough safe space was when I build my new home I had a 25 ftx30 ft safe build under the garage's steel reinforced floor and I enter threw a standard Vault door in the basement I bought from a local firm tearing down a bank. I have 19 browning high walls, and low walls, 10 Winchester high walls, two Heym double rifles one 375 H&H, one 9.3x74r, one browning o/u double rifle in 30-06/20 ga, four hall single shots one in 308 palma, one being build in 338x74 keith, one in 338/06, one in 300 H&H, one hagan being built in 300 H&H, one Heym model 44 270, one Merkel 7x57r double rifle, three acis one 308, 300 win mag, and one 338 lapua and the list goes on I have no idea the total guns last time I did a insurance check five years ago the number was 200 hundred. Guns that I use most are Hall 308 Palma, Heym 375 H&H, Beretta ASE gold, Ar10t 308, MP5K fir house gun and Hall 338-06 the rest of the rifles dancing , shotguns and handguns just set most of the time but I try to use a unused gun when ever I go to the range even if I am using one of the working guns at the time. So many toys not enough time.

If I could only have:

1 rifle: .375 H&H
2 rifles: .22 Hornet and .375 H&H
3: .308 Winchester .22 hornet and .375 H&H
4: .300 Win Mag .308 Winchester .22 hornet .375 H&H
5: .458 Win Mag .300 WM .308 Win .22 hornet .375 H&H
6: .22-250 Rem .458 WM .300 WM .308 Win .22 hornet .375 H&H
7: .22 LR .22-250 Rem .458 WM .300 WM .308 Win .22 hornet .375 H&H

All pre-64 model 70's except the .22-250 which would be a Rem model 700 and the .22 LR which would be a Kimber.

After that...just academic!!!

Sorry, can't do it! However, if I didn't already have a bunch of great rifles, I could probably get by with my Sauer 202 with 270 Win and 9.3x62 barrels. It's a really flexible rig. patriot Lou
