I'm going to try to make it up to Calgary tommorow or Saturday. That is if this bloody snow lets up. Otherwise, I'll have to mail-order it. It's a Parker Hale 30-06. The stock's rough and has been shortened. But apparently, it's not cracked. I'm going to refinish it anyways and can always put a new recoil pad with a spacer or two on it. I can't wait to get started on it this weekend. (Damn snow!) Angering society one University student at a time.

Yeah. And I thought we gave it all to the states. Huh, what do you know! I decided against the Parker-Hale. It was a bit too rough. Instead I bought a nice post 64 model 70 in 30-06. It's quite clean and only requires minor touch ups. I'll probably sand it and oil it, but later. Now I just have to decide on a scope. A VX-I, an Elite 3200. Both 3-9's, or a Weaver K-6. Now only if I can save my rubles for a few more weeks... Angering society one University student at a time.
