Yesterday you posted a thread entitled is anyone using one of these. Then you proceded to shamelessly display color pictues of absolute gun porn.
After perusing your post several times and taking it into cosideration, it weighed heavy on my mind last night and this morning. I recently sold the only two savage firearms that I owned, so I was at a Savage deficit. Also, two of the rifles I sold recently were chambered in 308 win. If I have less than a half a dozen 308's I start itching and scratching.
Although being financially embarassed over the last couple of months, I concluded a deal today that put a couple of coins in my pocket. On my way home, I stopped by one of my local hangouts (gunshop). I had fondled this rifle a couple of times in the last month. I also had a $400 "in store" credit.
Sooooooooo this is what followed me home. Please be advised that I'm putting the blame on you!

Savage FCP chambered in 308 Win. I am mainly a hog/deer slayer rather than paper puncher so the 1 in 10" twist, the 8.8 lb weight, and 24"oal barrel works for me. Gotta decide what scope to top it with.
