Is it correct to assume that a Weatherby rifle chambered for a non-Weatherby cartridge has to use the standard throating? If one were to buy a Vanguard in say .308 Win, it won't have any Weatherby-type freeboring in it, right? That is just reserved for the Weatherby mag chamberings specifically, as it's part of their standard, if I'm not mistaken. Just looking for a reality check. ============================== "I'd love to be the one to disappoint you when I don't fall down" --Fred Durst

that is my understanding. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Winston Churchill
