You may have to order what you want online somewhere. Try midsouthshootersupply.com, midwayusa.com, cabelas, to name a few. I've never used factory ammo in mine.

I reload my 300 RUM AMMO. If I were you I would just make sure you buy the right ammo and once I found the right ammo then I would only shoot that ammo.

There were some super deals recently at the nosler "seconds" and over run area of their web site.
The seconds were only cosmetic blemishes and the over runs were just that.
Prices were 25-40% of normal retail.
Check out their web site for them.
Good luck.

For Africa I use the Remington Ammo with the Swift 200 gr. A-Frame. I shoot a Win. Model 70 Gen II. We had to cut 2" off the Barrel and re-bed, but now it is my main plains game rifle.

The most accurate factory ammo I've found for the 300 RUM is the 150gr Remintion Premier Scirocco Bonded. 5 shot groups under .75 MOA out of a Reminton Sendero.

after a trip to the rifle range this weekend the Federal 180 Trophy tips were the most accurate out of my rifle but local gun shop dont have anymore and I cant find them on line anywhere so I might have to try Federal 200 grain nosler partitions
