| I just might do that. I have couple of 9.3 barrels and a mauser action. |

| Though this is an interesting wildcat, if I had the supplies you had, I would create a 9.3x62 Mauser or a 9.3x64 Brenneke. The Brenneke would probably get the nod, but the 9.3x62 is quite a bit more common. The Brenneke always seemed to me to be a most overlooked cartridge. |

| This wildcat exists as the 9.3 USA. I don't have one but do have the cartridge drawing/specs around here somewhere. |

| give serious consideration to the 9.3 X 375 Ruger as well.

| Howdy Dave, I have a Hot Rod of a wildcat kinda based on what you are thinking. Mine is a 375 Dakota necked down to 9.3 mm. or, 330 Dakota necked up to 9.3 mm. I am pushing a 250 gr. North Fork to almost 3100 fps. and grouping 5 into 1.5"@ 200 yds. Thanks, Doug |

| I am do not plan on going crazy with velocity. I want more than the 9.3X62 with out going to the brenneke ammo. This ammo would be cheap to make and should be a big improvement in velocity |

| The .338 case is a very good case to do about anything with and I have thought over the years of building just such a wildcat, but the 9.3x62 is such a great round that I never got around to it and the 9.3x64 is even better and no belt..I say no belt because some have decided in there little minds that a belt is a disaster..I never considered the belt a minus and surly the old .375 has proved that over the last couple of hundred years..

| dave, I too thought of that chambering, having a .30-338 and a couple of .338 win mags with lots of brass around. After some serious considerations I went to the 9.3 x 64 Brenn round-still in the makings but will be soon ready for reloading. No belt --lets see that rifle when you are done with your shot groups/ load data. |

| Everbody thank you for all the info. It is very interesting. I never thought this topic would stir up such interest. One more question. Does anybody know who might have a reamer or be able to rechamber a 9.3X62 to this 9.3 Whatchamacallit. |

| Call it a "belted 9.3 x 64" "Magnum" "Rimless" "Express" ( Optional)" The 9.3 x 64 case can be made by turning off the belt of a .458 Win case ... so the x 64 case is in volume capacity the same as a "standard" H & H Belted mag case. a 9.3 x 68 or .375 x 68 - THAT would be an Idea! H
