Just picked up my hunting rifle from the local sporting goods store. It's a Remington Model 700 BDL, left-hand, 7mm Rem Mag, Custom Deluxe. It looks and feels so nice, I can't wait to get behind the bench with it. I was going to put a nice synthetic or laminate stock on it but the wood stock has just caught my affection and I have become partial to it, I think I will leave it on until I need to replace it. And alas I am going to have to wait until next pay check to get that Leupold...
I'll tell you how it shoots as soon as I know.

I agree, wood stocks offer alot more to the eye than any thing else.. All natural..

Would will always be that small bit niser then other,I like the feel of wood, is just nature.
