I recently picked 3 boxes of 7mm 160 MAGTIPS for $12 a box on Midway. I think they found some old stock and liquidated them. They didn't last long. I haven't worked up any loads for them yet.

That's funny.. I did the exact same thing.. Same 160 gn bullet, 3 boxes, same sale.. Big Grin

For me it's Berger. With the 168 loaded in my 7RM, I've killed deer, moose, eland, zebra, gemsbok, wildebeest, etc and almost all with one bullet. Amost every animal killed DRT. Only one moose and one gemsbok took more than 1 bullet. The eland was killed in full gallop and skidded to a stop stone dead.

I have 3 favorite bullet makers. Hornady, Swift and Barnes. And it is a bit difficult to pick only one, but I guess I would go with Hornady because of their large range of quality bullets for different calibers for different kinds of uses.
I also use bullets from Sierra, Nosler and Norma.

If I had to and I hate to think of that happening. I would pick Hornady. Lord save us from that day

Just because heretofore I have usually gone to Nosler's signifies squat. Not every manufacturer makes the bullet sizes I want in the calibers I shoot. I'm sorry, but your question is a meaningless noise.

Thanks Sarge, I'll try to think of a better question next time.

While I really like Nosler bullets, I do more shooting and hunting with Corelokts in my 30 cals or PRVIs in 9.3's.
