I've used Norma since I built my first 280 40+ years ago.

You might just have to take what you can find.

As usual just my $.02

I've used a 120 peices of Remington for 25 years with good results. It's finally worn out and I bought a box of Nosler which looks nice, but is lighter so the load will change.

I have had a number of 280 rifles over the years. Have used Rem ,Win, Norma and Fed brass. Fed I found a little soft. Norma was good but harder to find. Win 280 is nickel plated, I prefer just plain old brass. That leaves Rem. I have some Rem brass that I bought in the 1970's that has been loaded close to 10 times (annealed after 5 firings). Primer pockets still tight, brass is easy to find at a reasonable price. Big Green works for me. I also have a 280 Ackley and I fireform new Rem 280 brass with 0 issues.

I'm using Nosler and it has been fine. I have not reloaded it over 5 times yet.

I have used the Nickel plated Winchester and Norma brass for my 280 Ack Imp. The Winchester brass is overt 15 years old & I still have a packet of 50 new cases.

I have got over 10 reloads in all my cases.

I've never used any store bought ammo for a .280 but using Rem brass and 140gr/150gr Core Lokt as components has worked very well for me. That includes my longest shot on BG. An antelope at 384 long steps.

I've used Rem/Win, in whatever'06 length caliber that was available back them...today I would use 270 or ??? Hornady, Lapua or RWS...ALL are superbly uniform, accurate, long lived brass that need little prepping.

LUCK beer
