I'm hoping der Deutchlanders make a close tolerance Mauser 98 CRF with a 'chester model 70 type safety and straddle floor plate under the Rigby title that weighs under 5 pounds. My guess it will never happen.

I have been told that Mauser will once again be supplying rifle components to Rigby (now Reichbei) just like they did in portions of the previous two centuries. Wink

Haven't seen a press release yet. They just donated a .275 to an SCI auction. http://www.johnrigbyandco.com/10322.htm

Thanks a lot. I am anticipating the new 98 action to be built at the new Mauser facility, hopefully commercial in profile and with square bridges.
