Didn't see if you mentioned a price ceiling, but if that's not that big a deal, I think the answer is SAKO TRG--22 or 42 depending on your taste. I think Lawndart has at least one, don't know what caliber though.....

I have one and have had two others, they are flat awesome. The two I no longer own became gifts for friends--who just wouldn't let me have them back!

Sako is my pick for sure, but I dont think you could get a TRG for 1200 US$
