I shoot a lot of large guns and a Remington in 30-06 hurt me more than my .470 NE. Put a B&C stock on it and it is mild and pleasent......Tom
Already changed the stock to a Boyd's with a R3 recoil pad installed. The factory walnut stock had no recoil pad, just the plactic cap deal. THe new stock with the recoil pad helped some, but the gun is just so light it stings and recoils fast as hell. |

| If I had to keep only one rifle it would be my .338win mag, but my favorite is my 7x57 mm. custom mauser.

| My favourite cartridge is the Remington 222 but to answer the question, my favourite medium bore calibre is the 7mm, my favourite 7mm cartridge is the grand old 7x57 Mauser. |

| Mine is my 7 MM STW. Until i acquired this gun I had only shot a 270 Win. I have several other calibers now as well, but my go to gun is the 7 MM STW.

| The 7mm08 has killed a lot of deer for me in the past 30 years and I never had to shoot one twice. I sent it to Greg Tannel in Colorado to rebarrel and do a little more custom work to it and now it is on its way back home. I am getting excited. |

| Boy that's a tough one, but to my mind the 375 H&H is king with the 358 Win and 9.3x62 following close behind.

| That's easy. It's the 375H&Hx7x65R12ga5.56mm450Bushmaster300H&H. It is my favorite wildcat and I use it for everything.

| Any and all calibers (in a non-belted maggie case) between 6.5mm and .411 for deer on up and the 22-250 for predator calling.. Oh and we can't forget the 45-70 for deer at close range eh? |

| The 8mm-06. The perfect match between case capasity and bullet diameter. 200 grs bullet with SD of .275 going 2800 fps out of a 24" tube. Gotta love it.

| 6.8 or 270 or .277, what ever you call it, the old 270 Win is the one for me. Got lots of others--but you asked for the favorite so that's her! |

| For a medium bore caliber, my favorite would have to be my 30-06 as it is the only medium bore caliber that I have. |

| Hello guys, I don't have very large experience, but in the last 15 years I had the opportunity to try many different calibers. Now I have five rifle and every year, before hunting season begins I ask to myself what rifle I would use... But since I have my Reminton 700 BDL cal 30'06 the answe is even the same: I'll use the good old '30!! My second option is the 7mm Rem Mag. Faina

| I'm with Tapper on the stock.I have owned several 308's in Winchester,Remington and Savage and will attest to a good synthetic stock like Bell&Carlson or McMillan reducing recoil. My favorite is the 300H&H. |

| Since this is for rifles smaller than 375, then my favorites are my 35 Whelen with a 26 inch barrel on a Ruger Model 77 action, and my Weatherby Mark V Deluxe in 300 Weatherby Mag.

My favorite calibre is the 260 Rem followed by 30-06.
My favorite rifle that I have owned is a Sako forrester in 243. I wish I still had the rifle and would rebarrel to 260.
Happy Hunting
