I'm just a simple boy with target rifle wildcats
and I'd like some help please.

I've been recruited by a pro hunter to chamber up a 338 Ruger (from a 375) No change in HS, just necked down. He is going to be using 250gr Barnes and Swift 250gr pills primarily for plains animals up to 400/500 lbs. out to a max of 500yds.

Any of you fellas willing to recommend a starting load?

It's going on a Whitworth, 10 twist Bartlein, 26"

Thanks for your help. My guts says something in the range of VVN165/170, Reloader 17 or 22?

Than You

The reamer is being billed to and will be owned by the customer. He has said he would be willing to "lease it out to future customers of his if they want one"

This guy makes about 5 trips to Africa per year. He's out of Fla.

I have no need to have it in my inventory.

If you send a PM, I'll forward his contact info.
