Have any of you 9.3 fans ever used the Graf headstamped 9.3 X 62 brass and/or the PRVI 286 gr. bullets? I've decided to make a 9.3 X 62 on my last German made Brazilian 98, using a PAC-NOR barrel and a Richards MicroFit stock. I ordered some of the Graf brass and the PRVI bullets and would like to hear from anyone who has had exerience with these components.

Some of my comments about Graf 9.3x62 brass from some other previous threads:

---------------------------------------
I've been using the Graf brass in my 9.3x62 and I've been very happy with it. Also, the Prvi Partizan 285 gr component bullets from Graf's have been accurate in my CZ 550 (around 1 to 1.25 inch groups at 100 yds). But, I've never hunted with them. I use them for inexpensive practice as they shoot to the same point of impact (at 100 yards) as my 286 gr Woodleigh RN loads. I've never used the factory Prvi ammo, however.

I don't know who makes it but I've been very happy with the Graf brass. But, in the interest of full disclosure, I haven't tried any other brand of brass in my 9.3x62. My guess would be that the Lapua and Norma brass is probably a little more uniform but I've had such good results with the Graf brass I haven't bothered trying other brands.
My two cents....

From: which brass for 9.3x62?

I'm using the Graf's brass in 9.3x62. I've been pleased with it so far. Some of the flash holes need a little cleaning up but not a big deal. The shoulders appear to be nicely annealed. For the price, it seems to be pretty decent brass.

From: Graf brass, anybody use it?

Some of my load data using the Graf brass and Prvi bullets can be found here: 9.3x62 RL-15 285gr

I used the Graf brass in my 9.3x62 on my recent trip to South Africa last August. It worked fine; no problems. Some photos and results of my trip can be found here: Back from RSA - photos.

Yes, and No.

I've used Prvi Partisan components for at least 12 years, but not in the 9.3x62. I've used them in 6.5x54 M/S, 7.62x54-R, and 7.5x53.5 French mainly. All the Prvi Partisan components I have used have been absolutely superb...about on a par with Lapua, Sako, or Norma. I actually suggested to Bob Graf a couple of years ago that he start carrying Prvi Partisan components, but I am sure I was probably not the first or the only person to make that suggestion.

Thank you for the endorsements of the PRVI components. I didn't think that Graf would sell sub-standard stuff but I was concerned about it's overall quality. It looks like it's at least as good as US made brass.
