| I agree. A Garand is one of the most fun rifles to shoot. Federal is making 30/06 ammo especially for the Garand.

| I have one. Korean war vintage, '52 built. My dad has one, built in '39. I have 6 cases of ammo in garage and it is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive rifles I've ever fired. I just plain love it. My goal is to go 3-Gunning with the Garand...Heavy Metal Class. Do yourself a favor - get one. Heck, get two and convert one to a Whelen for hardcore bear busting.
Regards,
Robert

| I got mine: 1943 Springfield, reconditioned, excellent throughout. "Accurized" for CMP competition. Also a PAL 1943 bayo, cut down to 10 1/2" . . .
$600 out the door about 8 yrs ago. Gun show. |
