Just got a case of Norma 180 grain Plastic Point 308 Win at a good deal. Are their any hunters out there used this ammo on game?

I used the 180 gr plastic point ("dual core") in a .308 win. on a deer some 14 years ago. Worked fine, but it did break apart at close (10 yds) range (the deer was shot at the base of the neck/brisket) while facing me. I think its a perfectly good deer bullet, but wouldn't be my choice for elk or moose.
