Man, I have forgotten how small these size cases are... i loaded for my 257 the other day, and it was like "do i need tweesers?"

i actually BOUGHT factory ammo... as it was hornady custom, and the ammo was cheaper than just brass!

We'll see how it does on pigs sooner or later

Tweezers? reminds me of loading the 17 Rem. You talking about the 7x64 or 257? The 7x64 isn't tiny unless you compare it to a 505 Gibbs.

Yes, a recovered 7mm bullet looks small in comparison to, say 470NE etc.

seriously .. ia m so used to loading 375, 416, 458, 470, 500, and 550, that goign back to .257 was like miniatures and the 7x64 .. goodness, that whole CASE will rattle down the barrel of most of my guns!

I was rounding up a bunch of brass the other day to reload for my AR. I had just finished preping a bunch of 550 and 450 Ackley.

Damn things wouldn't fit the 223 shell holder and I finally looked closer; had grabbed a bag of fired 22-250. They looked tiny, too.


"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

just received a nikon silver finish scope .. spray painted the conetrol rings and away we go!
