And pics too small.... OK--clicked on the pics and got a bigger image, Looks OK from what you can see, grain flow is a little choppy through the wrist, but I think would be OK for a 300 H&H...maybe some of the folks who really know will chime in | |||

It appears to be near exhibition grade turkish walnut. I would be less concerned about wrist grain flow on a two piece stock. I've got a few single shots myself, and I always go for the straighter necks, even with a thru-bolt. I personally like the bottom blank, but either one will be elegant! | |||
