I never owned one and hadn't thought about them in a very long time, but something caused them to pop into my head. They were there and then they weren't and I hadn't even noticed. Actually the demise of this idea doesn't come as a shock to me. Any of you guys ever own one, or do you still have one? Just curious Dennis Life member NRA

They can be a real bargain. The rifle was made using their top components, and it sold for near $2,000. You can have the bolt converted to a regular firing pin for about $200 as I hear. I've bought them for $600.

Voere also sold the caseless ammo. There was an old .22 caseless ammo as well - from the 70s IIRC I remember reading a report on that one where the test was to soak the ammo in water & fire it. The velocity of the water soaked ammo was higher! "When the wind stops....start rowing. When the wind starts, get the sail up quick."

I remember them. Handled a heavy barrel varminter. Never was interested in the concept. Another solution looking for a problem to solve. NRA Patron member

Just needed some sight picture recognition software to plug into it. Or better yet, a brain wave reading headset that fires the weapon when you're on target. The deluxe model could have adjustable sensitivity for confidence levels. The super deluxe version would fire a shotgun the instant your brain registered the correct lead.

When I saw the announcement on those, I wondered what whiz kid had come up with an answer to a question NO ONE ever asked. This may be a partial answer to the issues with remlims Don't limit your challenges . . . Challenge your limits
