That action might be the basis for an over the course rifle if a five shot mag was available. Otherwise its way too heavy for a hunting rifle.

What's that big nut-looking piece on the extreme right of the photo?

Do you suppose the bolt handle will rattle a bit like a CZ 527?

It's a lug seat separate from the action. Made in a 4-axis CNC bar feeder and attaches in some manner between the action and barrel. aagin....merely a guess

Question about the bolt release. Why have it sticking out of the left side of the receiver like a Browning A-bolt? Makes it look dorky. But then so does that picatinny thingy. Just my impression.

That is an extremly nice looking rifle except for the shape of the trigger guard. It looks like it was an afterthought.
