My classic 243 is an A series - beautiful rifle with great reliable accuracy. I have a number of customs yet find that I have shot 60% plus of my dear this season with it.

I only remember the classics coming with the A series and later L series rifles. FWIW I have never seen one in the short or medium length actions. I have a few with AV and 1 with the L691.
