I have a Rem model 7600 in 30-06. How easy would it be to convert to a 35 Wehlen?

Rebore or rebarrel.

I wouldn't bother; just look for a used one in the local papers/Pennysaver.

Ditto, Remington made a ton of them in .35 Whelen, they shouldn't be hard to find.
