Has anyone used the Kimber Longmaster Classic (not the heavier varmit) in .308.

Curious on any feedback.

I don't own one but a friend of mine does and I have shot it a few times. I like the way it points with the heavier barrel and it is very accurate. I have an 84M in 7mm-08 that I like alot.

Most of the Kimbers are too light and whippy for me. The heavy VT models are too heavy. I have not held a Longmaster Classic, but the weight seems to be about right for a varmint gun but also a deer carry gun.
