| Came out in the late 70's as I remember as a bargain price ammo- ~ $3.50 a box. Just shoot it, it kills deer and similar critters as well as any cup and core bullet. Ballistics be damned, dead deer don't care! |

| Anybody have an old Shooters Bible that has ballistic info on these? Just curious. Hornady has a history page on their website that timelines their acquisition of Frontier and other company mile stones, good read.

| Hornady/Frontier is listed with no ballistics in 1974 and 1980 Shooter's Bible.
Only Norma, Winchester and Rem have ballistics tables. |
