I have lots of old ammo, some from family some from family friends that have passed.
I came across this ammo in my stash. Any one have any ballistic info on it?
I looked in an old Stoeger catalog from '58 but no Frontier ammo.

Frontier I believe was an Hornaday offering

You are correct, Frontier was a Hornady offering.

Came out in the late 70's as I remember as a bargain price ammo- ~ $3.50 a box. Just shoot it, it kills deer and similar critters as well as any cup and core bullet. Ballistics be damned, dead deer don't care!

Anybody have an old Shooters Bible that has ballistic info on these? Just curious.
Hornady has a history page on their website that timelines their acquisition of Frontier and other company mile stones, good read.

Hornady/Frontier is listed with no ballistics in 1974 and 1980 Shooter's Bible.

Only Norma, Winchester and Rem have ballistics tables.
