The latest Handloader magazine has 9.3x57 article and load data. Article by Gil Sengal. Shows how to make brass from 30-06. Thought I'd get the word out for those interested. Matt Matt FISH!! Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984: "Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

I bought the magazine and read the article, v ery interesting. I found a lot of suggested loads for my 9.3x57 using imr4895. 45 grains was usually listed as a good load with comments of up to 48 grains with no pressure signs. I thought the 45 gn load would work, I started at 41 gn and went up to 45gn. The gun seemed to perform at 44-45 gns, I felt like you were shooting a 286 gn bullet, but it would not regulate to the sights, it shot low at 25 yards, several inches low in fact. Any thoughts from 9.3x57 Husky shooters ?

I'll have to look up the data but the little shooting I did with my 9.3x57 last year, the faster I pushed the 286, the closer to the sights the impact came, in elevation and windage. I think I ended up at 46gr H4895 and it still seemed quite mild.
