| i guess it depends on what you deem " good performance".
is it a smooth .308 hole in and out or is it a large red cloud and bits of fur floating down into a pool of blood?

| try the 110 gr hornady v-max. it holds together at 3500 fps in flight. I haven't shot any game with it though. my guess is it will have an explosive effect. |

x2 on this one. Although I've never used it in a 300 winnie, it is my go to bullet in .308win and 30-06. |
