Anyone know what that is? I was reading an old deer hunting book. One of the authors was shooting a 300 Kennon Mag. I think it was published in the mid to late 60's.

I vaguely recall a popular writer of that age named Charlie Elliott who often used a Kennon-built rifle chambered in 308 something on deer hunts...Elliott was a hunter-writer, not a shooter-writer, and described his choices in arms quite sparingly....
