Hi all, Does the remington SPS have the same action as the rest of the remington 700 rifles?

Yes, Same action and choke full of that Remington goodness . Where they are different from most of the other Remington models is they are no-frills. They use cheap stocks and lack things like fluting etc. I like the SPS line. I would rather have a SPS than an ADL which is what the SPS line is supposed to be replacing. I was going to buy one of the varmint models recently, but found a lightly used LTR for about the same price before I made the purchace. Terry -------------------------------------------- Well, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

My son has a SPS stainless 243 and it is accurate & fun to shoot. great gun for little $$$$$. I want one in 300 Ultra, 270 & a couple of other calibers as "Rough & Tumble" rifles that can get scratched some, wet some & won't be quite as pretty, but do the job.
