Remington sps
Hi all,
Does the remington SPS have the same action as the rest of the remington 700 rifles?

Yes, Same action and choke full of that Remington goodness animal. Where they are different from most of the other Remington models is they are no-frills. They use cheap stocks and lack things like fluting etc. I like the SPS line. I would rather have a SPS than an ADL which is what the SPS line is supposed to be replacing. I was going to buy one of the varmint models recently, but found a lightly used LTR for about the same price before I made the purchace.

My son has a SPS stainless 243 and it is accurate & fun to shoot. great gun for little $$$$$. I want one in 300 Ultra, 270 & a couple of other calibers as "Rough & Tumble" rifles that can get scratched some, wet some & won't be quite as pretty, but do the job.
