What is the max length cartiage that you can rebarrel for without having to modify the action other than bolt face.

The box is right at 3.4" I set my rifles up for 3.35-3.37"

I agree. Unless you want to go with a wildcat built on the ultra case like the AR series the 300Wmag is about the largest capacity you can get in the MKX mag.
