Anyone handle one of these?
Any opinions, quality, accuracy?

I saw one today that looked to be a nice hunter in 30-06 at a decent negotiable price but have never heard of the maker.

I`ve googled it but get nothing but a couple dead forums threads with no responses and pieces on Krags and reworked M98`s with some info on Kongsberg built Colt copies.

This is a Norwegian built bolt action. You may google the name "Lakelander" which is their modern name.

I bought one of these new a few years ago. It has a rotary magazine and an off-beat stock design, but it was a fantastic shooter! I have a target at home with 4 3-shot groups from this rifle at 100 yards, and all four groups are one-hole groups. It was indeed made in Norway. I didn't own it for long, but it seemed to be well made.
