Does anyone have any experience with the current production Winchester Mod 70 Extreme Weather SS? I think it’s a really nice looking rifle and great action. I am interested in getting one in .308 Win. A few mixed reviews online although mostly positive. Where are they made these days? Some barrels say Morgan, Utah whilst some people say they are made in Portugal. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks
I miss the old trigger, but the new guns are otherwise excellent.

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:
"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

I've got several of the BACO Winchesters and they have all been shooters. I haven't shot any Extreme Weathers but the only complaints I've heard concern the stock. Some wish it were a McMillan Edge from the factory!
