Current production Winchester Mod 70 Extreme Weather SS reviews please!!
Does anyone have any experience with the current production Winchester Mod 70 Extreme Weather SS? I think it’s a really nice looking rifle and great action. I am interested in getting one in .308 Win. A few mixed reviews online although mostly positive. Where are they made these days? Some barrels say Morgan, Utah whilst some people say they are made in Portugal. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

Big Wonderful WyomingHad a 375 made in Portugal it was a quality firearm. Had .75 inch groups at 100 for five shots. Not bad for a 375 that had not been bedded.

ColoradoMattI miss the old trigger, but the new guns are otherwise excellent.

OngweI've got several of the BACO Winchesters and they have all been shooters. I haven't shot any Extreme Weathers but the only complaints I've heard concern the stock. Some wish it were a McMillan Edge from the factory!

cowmanbobFantastic rifles, feeding is 100 percent reliable, very accurate. The stock is too bulky and I wish it came with the old style trigger.
One thing about them I do hate though; these really fine barrel threads; which means you can't use barrels from older ones on them. Really fine.
