I am having my M700 rebarreled to 338 RUM. I plan on shooting 270 grain bullets at long range. What is the best combination of twist and number of grooves for this barrel? Thanks. Ranb ______________________________ In my opinion the best accessory to put on a rifle is a silencer. | ||

I've done more than my fair share of work with a 340 and I've always used 10 twists and have found them to shoot the 180's to the 300's quite well. Lastly I pretty always use one of Schneiders tubes, he makes one heck of a 33 tube. Mark D | |||
