I have owned, and shot afew South Gate FN Weatherbies. They have all shot well for me. All being chambered in the .300 Wby.Mag. | |||

It's pretty rare to find one in anything other than .300 WBY. They are FN actions and are well-made guns. All I have ever seen were pretty well used, and I owned one for a short time that had a lot of surface rust from neglect. To me, a South Gate Mauser in "as new" condition should be worth more than a German Mark-V. But that's just me. | |||
