Anyone have or had one of these based on the FN Mauser actions. I've seen a couple of these in 300 Weatherby Magnum and I'm sorely tempted.

StonecreekIt's pretty rare to find one in anything other than .300 WBY. They are FN actions and are well-made guns. All I have ever seen were pretty well used, and I owned one for a short time that had a lot of surface rust from neglect. To me, a South Gate Mauser in "as new" condition should be worth more than a German Mark-V. But that's just me.
Watch the Cabelas web site in their "Fine Gun Room" section. They show up there every once in a while and are usually at a healthy price.

chuck375Thanks all, I need something to go along with my 500 Jeffery. I gave my tried and true 270 Win to my youngest son ...
