an neighbour approached me today with a heym 30-06 bolt action. I wasn't thinking quick enough to get a model number he said he purchased it new 20 years ago and asked me what I thought it was worth, its in very good condition. does anyone have any experience with these rifles

I have an SR20N in 06.
Bought it about fifteen years ago for around $1500AU.
Nice rifle but best to fit it with low mounts.
