Anyone have any experience with the older model B&C carbelite stocks, the ones with the sling swivel bars built into the stock? I found one super cheap that I was thinking of buying to swap the factory synthetic Butler Creek stock on my 30-06. I'm curious to know if they are actually lite weight, and if they're similar to the current model carbelite stocks? ____________________________ If you died tomorrow, what would you have done today ... 2018 Zimbabwe - Tuskless w/ Nengasha Safaris 2011 Mozambique - Buffalo w/ Mashambanzou Safaris

I have one of the old ones on a Model 700 30-06 and if I recall it is about 32 or 33 oz. It is very stiff and has a wide recoil pad so easy shooting.
