bartscheWhat calibers would you pick for a pair of short light rifles?

The 250-3000 could handle everything from varmint to mule deer with low recoil and the .338 Fed. could go from deer on up.The .338 Fed is choosen only because you don't have any good choices in the larger rifle selections.
Might also have went for the .257 but the .250 will do.

dwheelsI didn't read all the posts but my choices are both on the same case. The 243 because you can load down to 55 grains for varmints and use a 85 gr TSX for deer etc. plus every thing in between. The 338 Federal for the large one. 165 gr TSX up to a 210 gr TSX should stop anything up close.
