Does anyone hear have any experience with the 225 or 250 grain Woodleigh bullets in there 358? These seem like great bullets for elk and moose.

Tanoose, Accuracy wise the 250gr Woodleigh has done well for me in my 358Win (and 350RM), grouping as well as other projectiles. I haven't taken large game with it yet, but it wont fail you. A friend has used the 250gr in a Rem pump in 35Whelen and had no complaints on Sambar (elk-sized) deer. The Woodleigh's are great at opening at lowish velocities and retaining weight. I have a 310gr Woodleigh here fired from a 35Whelen (2200fps) and recovered from the backstop (dirt) that is double calibre size and mushroomed half way back to the cannelure. In the 225gr size, I prefer the Nosler Partition as I figure I might as well have a spitzer at the higher velocities. Cheers... Con
